Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is involved in the TRC Talent Solutions data breach investigation, for a data breach affecting 158,593 individuals and their personal information.
On or around April 12, 2024, TRC Talent Solutions learned that an unauthorized third-party had gained access to its network, including encrypted files. A subsequent investigation into the incident uncovered that the cybercriminal had access to TRC Talent Solutions’ systems from March 25, 2024 to April 12, 2024. During this time, the unauthorized actor accessed personal and private information related to the company’s employees.
The compromised information includes, but may not be limited to, the following:
- full names
- Social Security numbers
About the TRC Talent Solutions Data Breach
TRC Talent Solutions recently began informing individuals of these breaches through a mailed notice letter. All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous to affected victims. In previous data breaches, victims of data theft have noticed identity theft attempts ranging from fraudulent charges on bank accounts or credit cards, to unauthorized credit card applications, to medical services or government services ordered in their name, to their information being posted on the dark web, to a massive uptick in the number of spam text messages, calls and emails received.
