Ippolito International Employee Data Breach Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the California-based agricultural company Ippolito International (“Ippolito”) for its data security practices in the wake of a data breach. Ippolito has not disclosed when this breach occurred. In a recent data notice, Ippolito acknowledged that it discovered the incident on April 26, 2022 and is now notifying affected employees and vendors. If you are an employee, former employee, or vendor of Ippolito, Coast King Packing (“Coast King”), Queen Victoria Farms (“Queen Victoria”), or Coastal View Farms (“Coastal View”), your name and Social Security number (SSN) may already have been impacted.

Given how long it has been since the breach, hackers may have already been able to sell the data or otherwise benefit from the fraudulent misuse of such compromised information. People affected by the data breach may have already noticed (or may soon notice) one or more of the following types of fraudulent activity related to their personalinformation: tax fraud, including theft of a tax return; unauthorized credit card inquiries or charges; requests for loans or benefits in an individual’s or institution’s name without their consent; or disrupted use of an institution’s website.

Have you recently received a data breach notification letter from Ippolito?

If so, we would like to hear from you.  Please complete the contact form on this page, send us an email at [email protected], or give us a call at (202) 470-3520.
