UI Community HomeCare Data Breach Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod is investigating UI Community HomeCare (“UI”) for a breach of its patients’ data.  On March 23, 2023, an unauthorized third party breached UI’s computer system, stealing patient information from the company.  This includes name, date of birth, address, phone number, medical record number, dates of service, health insurance information, billing and claims information, medical history information, and diagnosis/treatment information.

All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous. In previous data breaches, victims of data theft have noticed identity theft attempts ranging from fraudulent charges on bank accounts or credit cards, to medical services or government services ordered in their name, to their information being posted on the dark web.

Have you received a data breach letter, email, or other notice from UI Community HealthCare?
