ReproSource Fertility Diagnostics Data Breach

The law firm of Migliaccio & Rathod LLP has filed a lawsuit against ReproSource Fertility Diagnostics, Inc., for its failure to exercise reasonable care in securing and safeguarding its patients’ sensitive personal data. Personally identifiable information held by the company was accessed in a data breach that exposed patient names, addresses, email addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, health insurance billing information, and treating physician information. The data breach affected at least 350,000 individual customers of ReproSource’s services. Even though the breach occurred on or around August 8, 2021, affected customers were not notified by ReproSource until October 21, 2021, more than two months after their information was first accessed.
