2021 Ford Bronco 2.7L V6 EcoBoost Engine Failure Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the 2021 Ford Bronco equipped with the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine for reported loss of power and, in some instances, engine failure. At issue appears to be defective engine valves and some Bronco owners have rallied to have the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigate whether the valves or the engines themselves are defective. NHTSA currently has an open investigation to evaluate the issue, which it currently recognizes as a “loss of motive power at highway speeds with no-restart due to catastrophic engine failures.” Engine-related complaints currently make up more than half of the 2021 Ford Bronco complaints on NHTSA’s website, with many specifically referencing valve/engine failure.
