CLOSED: Investigation of Antiperspirant Body Sprays Contaminated with Benzene

UPDATE: We are no longer investigating this potential suit. Please contact individual counsel should you believe you may have potential claims for evaluation.

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating bringing forward class action claims against certain manufacturers of antiperspirant sprays alleged to be contaminated with benzene. According to independent laboratory testing by a Connecticut based lab called Valisure, many name brand body sprays contain benzene, which is a known carcinogenic compound. These brands include:

  • Secret
  • Old Spice
  • Tag
  • Sure
  • Walmart’s Equate
  • Suave
  • Right Guard
  • Brut
  • Summer’s Eve
  • Power Stick
  • Soft & Dri
  • Victoria’s Secret

Accordingly, the company has petitioned the FDA to facilitate recalls by each of the companies to address this dangerous contamination. Thus far, no action has been taken on behalf of consumers by these companies to address the concern.

Have you used any of the above branded antiperspirant sprays in the past 3 years?

If so, we would like to speak with you. Please complete the questionnaire below, send an email to [email protected] or call us at (202) 470-3520 for more information.
