Toyota Radar Sensor Defect Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating various Toyota models between model years 2018 and 2020, for faulty radar sensors that deactivate themselves. Toyota’s radar sensors aid their vehicles’ various safety features, including radar-adaptive cruise control and pre-collision system that can automatically apply the car’s brakes to avoid a crash. Toyota has issued a voluntary recall to fix faulty radar sensors in 2018-2019 Toyota Tundra and Tacoma vehicles, but customer complaints indicate that other models, including the Corolla, Camry, Highlander, RAV4, and others, have experienced similar issues related to a faulty radar sensor. These issues include sudden braking, sudden deceleration, and sudden acceleration.

Has your Toyota vehicle experienced sudden braking, deceleration, or acceleration?

If so, we’d like to hear from you. Please complete the questionnaire below.
