Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating Acer, the manufacturer of Gateway computers, over reports that the touchscreens in the Gateway GWTC116 and various other models of Gateway laptops stop registering touch input. The loss of touchscreen functionality substantially diminishes the usefulness of these laptops, which are marketed as possessing fully functional touchscreens.
Owners of these laptops report that the touchscreen stops registering touch input for no apparent reason. Acer, in not taking action to address and remedy the touchscreen defect, places the burden of their own manufacturing failures directly on Gateway laptop owners who have wasted time and resources searching for solutions.
Has your Gateway laptop’s touchscreen become broken and unable to register touch? If you purchased within the past 3 years, reach out to us!
