Migliaccio & Rathod, LLP, is currently investigating PayPal, Inc., for a data breach. Sometime between December 6, 2022, and December 8, 2022, an unauthorized party broke into multiple PayPal accounts using spoofed or fraudulently obtained login credentials. PayPal confirmed the attack on December 20, 2o22, but has only recently begun to notify affected customers. Affected customers could have had their full names, addresses, Social Security numbers (SSNs), tax identification numbers, or dates of birth exposed.
People affected by the data breach may have already noticed (or may soon notice) one or more of the following types of fraudulent activity related to their personal and health information: unauthorized credit card inquiries or charges, requests for loans or benefits in an individual’s name without their co.
