Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating Mercedes-Benz for a potential fire risk across their lineup. Daimler, Mercedes-Benz’s parent company, informed 800,000 Mercedes Benz owners that a possible leakage in the coolant pump could heat up components, raising the risk of fire. Because the parts to fix the coolant leak are not currently available, Mercedes-Benz has not yet been able to issue a recall. The company is instead advising owners to drive their cars “in a particularly prudent manner” though it’s preferable that the cars not be driven at all.
The affected models are certain GLE/GLS (167 platform), C-Class (205 platform), E-Class (213 platform), S-Class (222 platform), S-Class (223 platform), E-Class Coupe/Convertible (238 platform), GLC (253 platform), CLS (257 platform) and G-Class (463 platform)
