Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the iPhone 6s for fire risks resulting from an overheated battery. A news report out of Victor, NY highlights the latest incident of an iPhone 6s catching fire while in the back pocket of a 13-year old girl. The phone burned a hole through her jeans and inflicted second-degree burns on her skin. Stories of iPhone 6s’ catching on fire around the country have made headlines since 2016, but no recall has been issued for the devices.
