The Fold & Go MagSHOCK is marketed as a portable, all-terrain electric wheelchair capable of supporting approximately 400 pounds. Consumers purchasing a wheelchair for everyday mobility may reasonably expect its frame and other structural components to withstand normal use without unexpectedly cracking or breaking.
However, Fold & Go MagSHOCK owners have reported failures involving several important structural components, including frames, welds, and forks. These types of failures can leave a wheelchair unstable or unusable and may create a serious risk for someone who depends on the chair for mobility.
