On or about May 28, 2025, Lee Enterprises finalized an investigation that revealed that an unauthorized individual had accessed private information stores on their computer network. The investigation began when unusual activity was discovered on February 3, 2025. The compromised information may include the following sensitive data:

Lee Enterprises recently provided notice of the data breach. All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous to affected victims.
