Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is involved in the Trionfo Solutions, LLC (“Trionfo”) data breach investigation, for a data breach affecting 65,787 individuals and their personal information.
On January 2, 2024, Trionfo learned that an unauthorized user had gained access to certain systems containing the personally identifiable information of its consumers. Trionfo’s subsequent investigation discovered that the cyberattack occurred from December 4, 2023 to December 6, 2023, where the hacker acquired consumer files containing the previously mentioned sensitive data. The compromised information includes names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, phone numbers, and email addresses.
Trionfo Solutions, LLC recently began informing individuals of these breaches through a mailed notice letter. All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous to affected victims. In previous data breaches, victims of data theft have noticed identity theft attempts ranging from fraudulent charges on bank accounts or credit cards, to unauthorized credit card applications, to medical services or government services ordered in their name, to their information being posted on the dark web, to a massive uptick in the number of spam text messages, calls and emails received.
