2024 Mazda CX-90 Engine Power Loss Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the 2024 Mazda CX-90 for sudden loss of engine power. Driver complaints on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) website report numerous warning lights appearing on their dashboards, most commonly a “Hybrid System Malfunction” warning. The vehicle’s loss of power is followed by complete inoperability, and in some cases, an inability to shift the vehicle’s gear. Unable to put the vehicle in Neutral to move it out of the way of traffic, owners report being kept in danger as they become stuck in the middle of traffic. Mazda has issued a recall for this issue, though it appears an inadequate number of vehicles are covered as owners report presenting their vehicles to the dealership for repair work, only to be told nothing can be done.
