Mondelez International Data Breach Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating Mondelez International, Inc. for a data breach of over 51,000 of its customers’ personal information.  On February 23, 2023, an unauthorized third party breached Mondelez International’s computer system, stealing customer’s personal information, including individuals’ names, date of birth, address, employee identification number, and other personal identifying information like their Social Security number. Mondelez International recently began informing customers of this breach through a website notice and a written notification letter.

All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous. In previous data breaches, victims of data theft have noticed identity theft attempts ranging from fraudulent charges on bank accounts or credit cards, to medical services or government services ordered in their name, to their information being posted on the dark web.
