Lenovo 730 Flickering Screen Investigation

Migliaccio and Rathod LLP is currently investigating the Lenovo 730 2-1 laptop for a flickering screen which makes the device unusable. Users have reported that the flickering, which has started in some severe cases within 24 hours of purchase, progresses to black out large parts of the screen, and that the problem persists even after multiple attempts at repairing the machines. Customers on Lenovo’s forums have noted that the screen flicker may be linked to both a defective LCD display and display cable, and is made worse when the laptop is moved, or when the screen is first opened. The central purpose of the laptop is hampered by this defect since it is a 2-1 laptop, where the draw of the machine is to be portable and to open and close.
