Frog Fuel Power Protein Products Deceptive Marketing Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating Frog Fuel for its deceptive marketing practices. Its power protein products such as the “Frog Fuel Power Protein – Liquid Protein Shot” prominently display on the product’s label a representation of 15 grams of protein per serving. Furthermore, Frog Fuel claims that their power protein product “digests 4x faster than whey protein.”

However, these products contain collagen protein which, according to experts, does not function or provide the same benefits as a “complete protein.” This is because our body’s genetic instructions do not allow the use of many of the amino acids such as hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine that make up collagen protein. Further, experts argue that the digestion of whey protein is as fast as physically possible, and a study has found relatively standard rate of appearance curves for hydrolyzed and intact collagen.

The claim that the Frog Fuel product contains 15 grams of protein per serving which digests faster than other sources of protein is misleading. Hence, Frog Fuel is engaging in deceptive marketing practices.

Have you purchased Frog Fuel’s power products such as the Liquid Protein Shot in part because of its advertised protein content?
