Migliaccio & Rathod is investigating the sudden pending discontinuation of Spotify’s Car Thing, as the company announced that on December 9th, it will be disabling the product and will not be offering any form of refund or trade-in.
Consumers have voiced their dismay at this announcement, as many had spent nearly a hundred dollars for a device that just after two years will be useless. Spotify has offered no guidance to purchasers beyond a recommendation to properly dispose of customers’ valuable property as electronic waste.
