Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating an apparent failure to protect student and employee private data at Paul Smith’s College, a small college located in upstate New York. Paul Smith’s College discovered a data breach recently, and on February 17, 2023, Paul Smith’s College began to notify individuals that there days was impacted. Paul Smith’s College determined, after an investigation, that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on August 27, 2022, including names and Social Security numbers (SSNs).
