Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating various Nissan models between model years 2018 and 2020, for faulty radar sensors that deactivate themselves. Nissan owners report receiving “Front radar unavailable due to obstruction” messages on their dashboard, even though the radar sensor is clear of obstruction or debris. Nissan’s radar sensors aid their vehicles’ various safety features, including radar-adaptive cruise control and pre-collision system that can automatically apply the car’s brakes to avoid a crash. Faulty radar sensors can lead to sudden braking, deceleration, and acceleration. Customer complaints include the Nissan Altima, Armada, Kicks, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, and Rogue, and Sentra.
