Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the Google Pixel Buds for a number of user-reported issues, including poor Bluetooth connection, inconsistent battery life, audio pausing, and audio cutout in one or both buds. Retailing at $179.00, the second-generation Google Pixel Buds have now received hundreds of complaints from users who state that firmware updates have not fixed these issues and replacement buds have also suffered from the same defects. Simply moving your head in any direction is enough to interrupt the Bluetooth connection. Google expects to roll out software updates in the coming weeks to address these issues, but it hasn’t yet provided a specific date for when to expect that update, or whether multiple updates should be expected. One poster on Google’s support forum stated that he had been denied a refund, meaning that other owners who wait for these updates and find themselves unsatisfied may be similarly locked out of the return period.
