Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating an inverter connection defect affecting certain 2025–2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid and Corolla Cross Hybrid vehicles that may result in loss of propulsion or an electrical short and fire risk.
Approximately 55,405 vehicles are affected. The problem involves a loose connection within the hybrid inverter system. Owners have reported significant vehicle downtime while waiting for an available repair, including reports of vehicles remaining at dealerships for approximately a month or, in some cases, several months.
Migliaccio & Rathod is investigating whether Toyota owners have been left without reliable use of their vehicles because of the inverter defect, including consumers whose vehicles remained at dealerships for extended periods while a remedy was unavailable.
Owners May Have Experienced:
- Hybrid-system or electrical warning messages;
- Sudden loss of propulsion;
- Electrical problems associated with the inverter;
- Being advised that the vehicle should not be driven;
- Weeks or months of dealership downtime while awaiting repair; or
- Difficulty obtaining a timely recall remedy.
Potential Claims May Include:
- Defective manufacturing;
- Breach of warranty;
- Failure to provide a timely and adequate repair;
- Loss of use;
- Diminished vehicle value; and
- Violations of applicable consumer-protection laws.

- You own or lease an affected 2025–2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid or Corolla Cross Hybrid;
