Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating complaints that ParkMobile users may have been charged for parking in the District of Columbia on days when payment was not required, including certain Sundays and federal holidays.
ParkMobile is a mobile parking-payment service that allows drivers to pay for parking through an app. Consumers have reported concerns about paying fees related to parking through the ParkMobile app in the District of Columbia, even on days such as Sundays and federal holidays where parking is free.
Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating whether ParkMobile has collected parking payments from consumers in the District of Columbia when no parking fee was due and whether consumers were adequately informed that payment was unnecessary before completing their transactions.
