According to public reports, debris from the White House East Wing demolition project was transported to the golf course in October 2025. An interim report conducted by a Virginia engineering firm found that after the debris was dumped, the golf course contained elevated levels of toxic metals, PCBs, pesticides, petroleum byproducts, and other chemicals.
