Delayed Bybit Reimbursement Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating whether Bybit failed to fully reimburse customers after a February 2025 cyberattack that stole more than $1.5 billion worth of cryptocurrency.

What Happened With Bybit Crypto Heist

Hackers broke into one of their main storage systems and stole over 400,000 ETH, making it the largest crypto heist in history. They promised “full compensation,” but many customers report delayed credits, frozen accounts, or unclear responses months later.

Why It Matter

When a financial platform is hacked, it has a duty to protect customers and promptly restore funds. Their slow or partial reimbursement is comparable to a bank taking months to return your money after a robbery.

Signs You May Be Affected

  • You held funds on Bybit as of February 21, 2025
  • You’ve faced unexplained account freezes or restrictions
  • You received only partial reimbursements or none at all
