On or about December 26, 2024, Muscogee County School District (MCSD) detected suspicious activity in its network. MCSD conducted an investigation and determined that an unknown third party accessed their computer network between December 12, 2024 and December 26, 2024, potentially giving them access to personal information. Muscogee County School District provided notice to affected individuals on August 14, 2025. The impacted data includes the following sensitive information:
- Names
- Social Security numbers
- Financial account numbers & routing numbers

The Muscogee County School District recently provided notice of the data breach. All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous to affected victims.
