Migliaccio & Rathod LLP has filed a collective action wage-and-hour lawsuit against Giant of Maryland, LLC, which operates grocery stores in the District of Columbia. The lawsuit alleges Giant failed to pay hourly employees for all hours worked, such as by reducing or rounding down their hours worked and failing to pay for time spent in security screenings. The lawsuit also alleges that Giant failed to pay hourly employees the correct overtime rate of 1.5 times their regular rate.
