Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the 2023 Honda HR-V for rear windows that spontaneously shatter. Driver complaints on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) website number over 250 for this issue. Drivers note that, rather than cracking or splitting, the glass tends to completely shatter, with many describing the sound produced as an explosion. The problem appears to occur more often in cold weather, particularly when the rear defroster has been turned on. Honda currently has no recalls to address this issue.
