    Data Breach

Alogent Holdings, Inc. Data Breach Investigation

Posted September 6, 2023 Bruno Ortega

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is involved in the Alogent Holdings, Inc. data breach investigation, for a data breach affecting 4,543,000 individuals and their personal information.  On or around May 30, 2023 to June 1, 2023, an unauthorized third party breached Alogent’s server data, which encompassed account details associated with checks managed through one of Alogent’s clients, Huntington Bank. The information compromised includes account and routing numbers, names, addresses, phone numbers, check payee and remittance amounts.

Alogent recently began informing individuals of this breach on August 14, 2023, through a written notification letter. All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous to affected victims. In previous data breaches, victims of data theft have noticed identity theft attempts ranging from fraudulent charges on bank accounts or credit cards, to unauthorized credit card applications, to medical services or government services ordered in their name, to their information being posted on the dark web, to a massive uptick in the number of spam text messages, calls and emails received.

Have you received a data breach letter, email, or other notice from Alogent Holdings, Inc.?

If you received such a notice, we would like to hear from you.  Please complete the contact form on this page, send us an email at info@classlawdc.com, or give us a call at (202) 470-3520.

The lawyers at Migliaccio & Rathod LLP have years of experience in class action litigation against large corporations, including in cases involving data breaches such as this. More information about our current cases and investigations is available on our blog.
