Rivian R1T Trapped Water in Doors Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the 2022-2023 Rivian R1T for reports that the truck retains water inside of its doors. Unlike other cars that have vents or drains that allow water to be removed from the vehicle, the Rivian’s drainage system appears to be blocked from the factory with the use of rubber stoppers. As a result, the inside of the Rivian’s doors fill with water that could cause damage to components or rusting due to the water’s inability to escape the vehicle.
