Captify Health Payment Card Data Breach Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating recent reports of a payment card data breach suffered by Captify Health (“Captify”), an online retailer of colonoscopy preparation kits.  Captify began notifying impacted customers in mid-December. However, the security breach occurred in 2019 and continued for years. While the full extent of the incident is yet unknown, it is likely that more than 244,000 customers were impacted by the breach, and that impacted information may have included the full name, address, date of birth, payment card number, expiration date, and security code of those who purchased the preparation kits in their online store.

Unauthorized charges on payment cards are often the result of data breaches like the one suffered by Captify.

Have you recently received a data breach notification letter or other communication from Captify concerning the data breach?
