Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the 2020-2022 Hyundai Palisade, for defective windshields that are easily prone to cracking. Multiple owners on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website and various Hyundai forums report windshields that crack very easily after being hit by small pebbles, or for no reason at all. The crack quickly progresses in a spiderweb pattern to expand further along the windshield, leaving owners to pay as much as $1,500 for a replacement. For some, their windshield cracked again soon after replacement, and many note that their windshield replacement has been on backorder for months. Meanwhile, Kia, Hyundai’s sister company, released special coverage for this exact same defect in their 2020 Kia Telluride, which has the same base as the Palisade.
