2017-2018 Honda Accord Daytime Running Lights Burnout Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the 2017-2018 Honda Accord for defective daytime running lights that fail prematurely. Accord owners report that, once the LEDs used in the vehicle’s daytime running lights fail, the entire headlight unit must be replaced, the cost of which has ranged from $550 to $2,000 for parts and installation. Accord owners also point out that the LED failures occur when the vehicle’s mileage is still low, burning out as early as 30,000 miles—some replacement headlights have also burn out once replaced. Outside of warranty, these replacements can add up to be costly.
