Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is currently investigating the Lenovo Flex 5 and 6 laptops for exhibiting screen flickering. Flex 5 1470 users have reported that the flickering progresses to black out large parts of the screen, making the 2-in-1 device unusable. Released in August of 2017, Lenovo’s Flex 5 1470 forums contain complaints that have continued into this year, with the latest complaint posted in late October. Lenovo customers have noticed that the screen flicker and blackout is triggered when the laptop is moved, or when the screen is first opened. Being a 2-in-1 device, where the draw of the machine is to be able to flip the screen into a tablet, its central purpose is hampered by this defect.
