Chrysler 200 Engine Stall Class Action Investigation (Closed)

**UPDATE: DUE TO THE SETTLEMENT OF A SIMILAR CASE, THIS INVESTIGATION IS CLOSED AND WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING ANY MORE INFORMATION ON THE MATTER (4/24/2019)

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating potential claims involving model year 2015 and 2016 Chrysler 200 vehicles. Hundreds of complaints on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website report that the engines in their Chrysler 200 vehicles unexpectedly stall, posing a serious safety risk. Chrysler issued a recall in 2015 for an intermittent loss of power to electrical components that could cause a vehicle to stall without warning, but many Chrysler 200 drivers have reported that stalling problems persist past the date the recall was completed. The affected vehicles may have a Power Distribution Center (PDC) electrical connector that may cause intermittent power failures to certain electrical components.

Drivers note that the engine will stall while moving and while stopped, sometimes disabling the power steering in the process or requiring multiple restarts to get the car moving again. A car that stalls while moving poses a major safety risk to the driver, passengers and surrounding traffic.
