
Jane Manwarring joined the firm as an Associate in April 2025.
Prior to joining the firm, Jane worked as a Housing Staff Attorney with Bread for the City for two and a half years. As a Housing Staff Attorney, she represented tenants sued for eviction in the D.C. Superior Court. In this role, she advocated for tenants through all states of litigation, including pre-trial negotiations, filing and arguing motions, issuing discovery requests and responses, and preparing for trial.
Jane graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2022, where she was a Student Attorney in the Reentry Clinic and a Publications Editor for the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & The Law. While in law school, Jane interned with the Public Defender Service and FAMM.
Prior to law school, Jane worked for a violence prevention initiative in Chicago, IL.
