Migliaccio & Rathod, LLP, is investigating Ro, a telehealth company, for potential exposure of its employees’ personal data. Ro has reported that a data security contractor uploaded a spreadsheet containing employee data to the internet on or before July 6. The data included names, personal addresses, and banking information.
Given how long it has been since the breach, cybercriminals may have already been able to harvest and sell the data, or to otherwise benefit from the fraudulent misuse of such information. People affected by the data breach may have already noticed (or may soon notice) one or more of the following types of fraudulent activity related to their personal information, such as unauthorized credit card inquiries or charges, or requests for loans or benefits in an individual’s name without their consent.
Have you received a data breach notification letter from Ro?
If so, we would like to hear from you. Please complete the contact form on this page, send us an email at [email protected], or give us a call at (202) 470-3520.
