Urban Artifact THC Beverage Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating Urban Artifact over potential concerns involving the marketing, labeling, and sale of its hemp-derived THC beverages.

Urban Artifact introduced Coastalo, a line of Delta-9 THC-infused sodas, in 2024. The beverages include flavors such as Red Cream Soda, Grape Soda, and Cherry Cola and are marketed for relaxation and social enjoyment.

In March 2026, Urban Artifact joined other Ohio breweries in challenging state restrictions on hemp-derived THC beverages. Ohio’s new law significantly restricted the sale of intoxicating hemp products, leading to legal disputes over whether businesses could continue manufacturing and selling these drinks.

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating whether consumers purchasing Urban Artifact’s Coastalo beverages received accurate information about THC potency, potential intoxicating effects, and compliance with applicable state laws.

Consumers May Have Experienced:

  • Purchasing THC-infused sodas based on advertised potency or relaxation-related benefits;
  • Receiving insufficient information about potential THC-related impairment;
  • Purchasing beverages whose sale may have been restricted under applicable state laws.

Potential Claims May Include:

  • False or misleading advertising;
  • Misrepresentation of product safety or health-related benefits;
  • Violations of state consumer protection laws;
  • Failure to provide adequate or legally required warnings.

Signs You May Be Affected:

  • You purchased Urban Artifact’s Coastalo THC sodas;
  • You purchased the beverages in Ohio or another state with THC restrictions;
  • You relied on representations about the products’ legality, potency, or effects;
  • You believe important safety information was missing or misleading.
