The Week Early Subscription Renewal Investigation

Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating potential subscription billing and automatic renewal issues affecting customers of The Week magazine, including consumers who may have been charged for renewals earlier than expected.

The Week consumers have reported receiving renewal notices or billing requests well before their subscriptions were scheduled to expire. In one March 2026 complaint, a customer reported receiving notice of a renewal charge approximately 60 days before the subscription’s renewal date. Another consumer reported being notified of a substantial price increase and upcoming renewal charge more than 90 days before the subscription expired.

Migliaccio & Rathod is investigating whether The Week charged consumers earlier than authorized, failed to adequately disclose renewal timing or pricing, or improperly billed subscribers for renewal periods they did not intend to purchase.
