Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is investigating reports that certain LG LSIL6336-series induction ranges may experience repeated electronic, induction, or oven-related failures that are difficult to permanently repair.
Some consumers have reported needing multiple service visits over a relatively short period, only for the appliance to fail again after repairs were completed.
Recent reports involving the LG LSIL6336 family, including the LSIL6336XE, raise questions about whether certain ranges may experience premature electronic or component failures during ordinary use.
Consumers Report:
- repeated service visits for the same or related problems;
- repairs that fail to permanently correct the issue;
- induction or electronic components becoming inoperable;
- additional oven-related problems developing after earlier repairs;
- ranges becoming unusable relatively early in ownership; and
- difficulty obtaining a lasting repair.
One reported LSIL6336XE owner described repeated technician visits over several months in early 2026, followed by another failure shortly after the repair process. The same range reportedly later developed an additional oven-switch problem.
There is also a report alleging that an LG induction range lacked adequate boil-dry or thermal protection, resulting in severe overheating and permanent appliance damage.

- inadequate thermal-protection systems;
- breach of express or implied warranty;
- failure to provide an effective repair;
- failure to adequately disclose recurring defects; and
- unfair or deceptive trade practices.

Not every LSIL6336 owner reports problems, and the complaints identified so far do not establish a single common defect across the entire product line. We are investigating whether repeated failures can be traced to a common electronic, thermal-protection, or component design.
