According to a 2026 National Advertising Division (“NAD”) decision, Iron Rock prominently advertised thinbi® NAD+ supplements using a front-label “8,457 MG” claim on product packaging, Amazon product listings, and social media advertising. The NAD concluded that consumers were likely to understand this representation as describing the amount of active dietary ingredients contained in each serving or capsule and recommended that the company discontinue the claim. The matter was ultimately referred to the appropriate regulatory authorities after Iron Rock reportedly declined to provide a compliance statement.
Consumers purchasing dietary supplements reasonably expect prominent dosage representations to accurately reflect the ingredients they are buying and often pay premium prices based on those representations.
