Migliaccio & Rathod LLP is involved in the House of Dior Data Breach Investigation, regarding a breach that impacted an undetermined number of individuals and their personal information.
On May 7, 2025, House of Dior (“Dior“) discovered that it had fallen victim to a cyberattack. Subsequently, Dior conducted an investigation, which determined a cybercriminal had stolen the personally identifiable information of its clients maintained within a Dior data base on January 26, 2025. The compromised information includes, but is not limited to, the following sensitive data:
- full names
- dates of birth
- Social Security numbers
- contact information
- physical addresses
- passport numbers
- government ID numbers
The Dior Data Breach
Dior recently provided notice of the data breach on its website. All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous to affected victims. As is likely to be the case with the House of Dior data breach, in previous cyberattacks, victims of data theft have noticed identity theft attempts ranging from fraudulent charges on bank accounts or credit cards, to unauthorized credit card applications, to medical services or government services ordered in their name, to their information being posted on the dark web, to a massive uptick in the number of spam text messages, calls and emails received.
