Reported Issues

Consumers report strap eyelets breaking free and lens mounts separating from the camera body, resulting in expensive gear impacts. Nikon issued a limited advisory covering only certain serial blocks, leaving others unprotected.

Why Consumers Should Be Concerned

Unresolved structural failures raise concerns of product defect, unfair business practices, and implied-warranty breaches. Cameras falling from straps can pose physical injury risks as well as major equipment loss.
