Sunflower Medical Group, P.A. launched an investigation that determined unauthorized access occurred on December 15, 2024. Affected patients were not notified of the Sunflower Medical Group, P.A. data breach until March 7, 2025. Sunflower Medical Group, P.A. discovered that hackers were able to compromise a significant amount of personal information. The compromised information includes a variety of highly sensitive details including:
- name,
- address,
- date of birth,
- Social Security number,
- driver’s license number,
- medical information, and
- health insurance information

All of the information stolen is likely valuable and dangerous to affected victims.
