Migliaccio & Rathod LLP are currently investigating Nissan for battery drain issues in the 2019 and 2021 model years of the Nissan Sentra. Owners report the vehicle’s battery rapidly drains while the vehicle is off, in a manner of hours or even a couple of days. When this happens, Sentra owners have needed jump cables to start the vehicle every time they wanted to drive it, prior to replacing the battery. Customers suspect an electrical component in the vehicle is responsible for parasitic drain that continually draws power after the car has been turned off. Some owners have found their radio playing even after their vehicle was turned off. Not only is the battery drained before its expected lifetime, but the problem re-occurs with subsequent replacements that can happen shortly after a new battery has been installed. Sentra customers who’ve had this issue, therefore, have gone through multiple battery replacements.
Has the battery in your 2019 or 2021 Nissan Sentra prematurely failed?
